Assessments for the 2016-2017 School Year are as follows:

Acuity Interim Assessment - This is a district mandated standardized assessment, given quarterly for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. It is meant to measure student progress according to the Common Core State Standards, and results are used to guide teacher instruction and specific academic interventions to support all students. There is one Reading assessment (50 min.), one Writing assessment (50 min.), and two Math assessments (50 min. each). Note: Parents may not opt their students out of the Acuity assessments.

Quarter 1 - Monday through Thursday (8/22 - 8/25)

Quarter 2 - Monday through Thursday (11/7 - 11/10)

Quarter 3 - Tuesday through Friday (2/21 - 2/24)

Quarter 4 - Monday through Thursday (5/1 - 5/4)

ACCESS Language Assessment - For all second-language learners, this assessment window lasts from Monday, January 9th through Friday, February 10th.  These students will be assessed in three categories (reading, writing, and speaking) to gauge their mastery of the English Language.  Each assessment takes anywhere from 25 - 40 minutes, and is given at all grade levels if the student is a second-language learning who has not tested out of the program.

PARCC Assessment - This is a state mandated standardized assessment, given in April for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  There are three English/Language Arts Assessments, and four Math Assessments, lasting anywhere from 60 - 90 minutes each.  Testing dates are as follows:

Tuesday (4/11) - Wednesday (4/19), students in grades 3-5 will take one assessment each day.

CMAS Assessment - This is a state mandated standardized assessment, given in April for 4th and 5th grades.  4th grade students will take a Social Studies Assessment consisting of three tests lasting anywhere from 60 - 80 minutes each.  5th grade students will take a Science Assessment consisting of three tests lasting anywhere from 60 - 80 minutes each.  Testing dates are as follows:

Wednesday (4/5) - Friday (4/7), students in 4th and 5th grades will take one assessment each day.
