We are always looking for family and community members to get involved and volunteer. There are many opportunities to do so. community involvement

 

Volunteering- We can always use the support of volunteers. This can be done by coming to the school and volunteering or by helping by completing projects for teachers at home

  • If you would like to volunteer at the school you will need to apply to become a volunteer. The process and further information about this process can be found here

PTA- Our PTA meets once a month on the first Thursday of the month. We are always looking for our families to join the PTA in order to help support and make decisions for our school. If you have any questions about our PTA please reach out to Pam Candelaria

 

Watch D.O.G.S.- Watch D.O.G.S. are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at Jewell.

WATCH D.O.G.S.,  invites fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other father figures to volunteer at least one day all day at Jewell during the school year. Fathers and father figures sign up to volunteer.  WatchDOG dads and watch dogsvolunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher’s guidance by working with small groups of students on homework, flashcards, or spelling.
